Thanks for surfing into my site. My three enjoyable years aboard Ark Royal were the inspiration for the making of this site which is now in its third incarnation. Hopefully it will enable anyone to get in touch with old shipmates and renew friendships. Please use the forum and visitors log to post messages and if you need to contact me directly then use the contact page to do so. At present i only have phots from my own time onboard Ark but would love to publish anyone else's so please e-mail any you have for publication.

News Bulletin:
The Armed Forces pensions group are presently trying to get recognition for time spent in HM Forces for those with less than 22 years service prior to 1975. There are many that fall into this category, but because your service was between 1949 to 1975 and you were discharged prior to April 5th none of these years will count towards pensionable service.
Her Majesties Government is being asked for pension rights, or compensation, based on years of service and related, pro rata, to pensions received by those who completed 22 years of service. This is especially beneficial to all who went on after leaving the forces to go into the Police, Fire Service or other such organisations.
If you would like to support this petition please go to the following link then click on the "Related Papers" button where a petition form can be signed, or downloaded to get as many signature as you can. Forms should be returned as soon as possible. They have 85,000 signatures so far, they need 100,000.
